Started by making sure the injectors had fuel, they did. I had 17 lbs of pressure on the line. Swapped out the injectors with spares. Still nothing. Checked everything I could think of then I got the book out. I still could not make it go. Rechecked everything. I have spares, even the TPS. Checked the old one, good. No need to swap that out. Stumped, everything is primed and ready to spray but the injectors just will not release the fuel. Called Jeff, he downloaded the manual and had me check a few more things. Same thing, nothing. Called Holley. Must have woke the tech up. He was not real chipper. He talked me through a few things, told me how to get the main control computer as he figured I needed a new one. Hung up the phone. I am not giving up yet, I mean it has only been about 4 hours now.
I took off over the mountain while Teri checked the mail at the post office. She caught up with me and just over the peak we hooked the car up and gone to Walmart.
Coasting down the mountain and over the bridge before we roll into Superior.
I think Teri shot this one in Superior. Whew, I was glad to get back down to 2,000 ft. and 69 degrees. Yes, it is warm here. We have been freezing at night. Not here in Queen Creek. It is comfortable with no heat at all. I am hoping Quartzsite is the same way.
The ride was uneventful after I got us going. The brakes, fantastic. I can not say enough about the brakes. We took them for granted til we had none. Thanks Jeff and Bob.
Hope you liked the ride over the mountains today. Will be all flat lands from here on over to the California line.
Have a great week and thanks to the working folks for giving us back the roads. I love Mondays.
Dan
