GMC Motor Home, Travel with Teri and Dan

Late Sleeper

Boy, did I ever sleep late this morning. Teri and I had no plans so we slept in. She got up earlier than I did but I hung in there. Got up and answered emails and Teri took off to the wash house. We can do about a week. That is about all the clothes we brought.
I hope lots of folks get enjoyment out of our travels. That is the only reason I am writing these things down, so we can share our experiences. By the time we get home, lots of these things will have been forgotten and we would not remember what to tell our friends and family. There is absolutely no technical stuff in this information. Some bloggers are professional in some area of concern and write about it. I really know very little about anything except how to have fun in our motor home travels. They taught me no technical skills in college, as I prepared to be a Parole Officer. Anything technical that I might have picked up along the way, I can thank my dad for. He taught me a lot of stuff that can not come from "book learning". A big thing was "always be honest and treat folks better than you expect to be treated back". My mom was an English teacher so she taught me how to spell. I hope I do not let her down. I have no way to know who or how many folks look at this blog. It is not for everyone, just folks wanting to follow us on our travels. I do occassionally get emails from folks I have never met. They let me know that they are "tuned in". That is great. I love hearing from folks that enjoy our writings. If no one cared then I would cut it out. Of course, familty that I coorespond with regularly, mention it, so I know a few folks have it locked into their favorites. When I started writing I did not tell anyone. I just attached the website to the email signature. Did not want to bore folks. Then as some mentioned seeing it I was glad. Then a few asked me to post it other places so people would have the opportunity to see it, I did that. Now, I hope lots of people are able to enjoy it. Well, Teri is home from doing our laundry. I think we are going to the beach so, as always, thanks for coming by for a visit. We enjoy all of you following with us. Dan
