Still Living the Good Life
Do these three folks favor? The tallest is the youngest. Teri is the oldest and they all will admit that when they were younger she pretty much was able to take them both on and come out on top. Teri's two brothers are nice guys. Both have served in the military. Roger, on right, is retired from the Navy. Dennis, on the left, has been over in the war area and missed the last reunion that Teri and I were at. Our friends from Dexter remember us asking for folks to keep him in their prayers wheil he was over there. He is in the Naval Reserve. Roger has one of these little helicopters and tried to help me learn how to fly mine. I am still a student but will get it to go without crashing before long. It is the little bug looking thing right above my head in yesterday's pictures.Folks left the reunion last night. Some of us stayed another night. Some will be there another night or two. We really enjoyed our time with Teri's family at the gathering. Her mom and two brothers live in or around Vancouver so we will be seeing them for a few more days before we head back east.
Teri and I moved the coach back to the 5 dollar park this morning before church. We will hang around here a few more days. We are thinking Monday we will head up the coast toward Astoria and see what is up that way. Will have the camera so should have some pictures to put up on the site.
Yesterday I was out on my scooter riding around the area. Found another motor home like our's and got to visit with the owner for a few minutes. It is always nice to see another classic and get to visit with its owner.
I guess that is about it from here today. I am just glad to be back in this park where I can get internet and satellite tv again. Got to watch the race today. Going to visit the full timer with the bus before it gets dark. Thanks for dropping by. Dan
