GMC Motorhome Photos
I have several photos I wanted to share with you. This jacket says it all. Nice paint job.Jim and me all packed up and moving the crate to be picked up by UPS.
Saturday morning, beginning our trip home.
We followed this coach to Garden City where we seperated. They were heading to Texas and went straight south.
A historical sign at a stop in Colorado. Teri hollared and I looked. There were 100's of little prairie dogs. We stopped and took pictures but they would not show up. They were barking like minature dogs. A funny sight. I would walk out and they laughed til I got close then down their hole they went.
Lots of old cars out here in Colorado.
This was Sunday morning. We spent the night in Ponca City. Left there and headed to Barltesville. Like an old large city in the middle of nowhere.
More pictures of the town.
Lots of oil wealth out here. It was evident that times of old had been very good to these communities. Very nice and fancy buildings. I just wanted to see these places. Back in the early 80's I let several convicted felons move here to work in the oil fields. That was befrore the market tanked shortly after.
Teri had to get this picture in Coffeyville, Ks. All three of these units were tied together and moving down the road.
We traveled a long ways in Ok. From Bartlesville it looked closer to head back to Ks. and then a straight shot to Joplin. Nice ride. Roads in Southern Ks. are very nice and little traffic.
Teri saw this one along I-44.
Just east of Springfield I pulled over to the shoulder of the road to get up for a minute. Teri thought we were going to get busted. I just laughed.
Here are three reasons we always love getting back home. We got to watch the grand kids play in the park this afternoon.
