Artichok-ing

I don't know anything about these things, can't even spell it, but we found a field of them just east of Tillamook. teri had to get out and get a picture. We had just washed the car and I was trying to "blow dry" it, so had to turn around and come back. She got the picture and I came back to the coach and polished the car so it will look good for church tomorrow.
Early this morning Teri and Sylvia, our full time neighbor, went to the farmer's market and got some great veggies. We had them for lunch with the salmon that she cooked out on the grille. While they were gone to the market, Gordon, Sylvia's husband, and I ran up to Garibaldi. There is this neat little shop up there that sells all kind of things that men like. Tools, stainless screws, hinges, plumbing, fuses and on and on. I got some things to do some plumbing work on the coach, a few hinges, and the neatest brass, ball bearing, door latches for the doors and drawers in the motor home. No more doors flying open because I turn too sharp too fast. No more skillets flying out and smacking Sam in the head. Nope, got that all taken care of. The fella gets this stuff at estate sales and other places and sells it dirt cheap. I bought a 3/4 wood drill bit, new, for 50 cents. A new 3 inch sewer gate for 5 bux. Did not need it but had to have it for that price. Picked up a 1 1/2 inch gate for 2.50. Didn't need it either but had to have it at that price, new. I think I spent 22 dollars there picking up some stuff today. However, this was not my first stop. Teri and I had been there yesterday and I spent 11 bux then, all the green I had in my pocket. Told the fella I could not live near a place like this. Kinda like having a gambling problem I guess.
I think Teri and I are going to go to a water fall tomorrow. Should get some good pictures. It is just a few miles down the road. Hope everyone has a great Sunday. Keep us in your prayers. Also keep my friend Cliff Rush in your prayers. He lost his wife yesterday. They had been married somewhere around 60 years, or longer.
Thanks for dropping into our world today. I appreciate the letters and comments. Dan
