Blackberry Heaven

Teri and I ran out to my cousin Sharon's tonight. we had a blast. Stopped at Cape Horn for a look see. The view is the bottom picture. The site keeps messing with my arranged photos and getting them out of order.

Peeking through the blackberries at Multnoma Falls across the river in Oregon. So beautiful on both sides of the river. We were in Washington tonight.

Oh yea. These things grow everywhere here. Nearly made myself sick.

Look at the handfull Teri has. We sure had fun tonight and were not even to my cousin's yet.

Here is the Cape Horn shot. Left is Washington and right is Oregon. I can just see Lewis and Clark coming down the river. This is a beautiful spot. We just love the Northwest in the summer. I hope we can make next summer another 3 month trip in the GMC. I should be able to find work here to pay for gas out here and back. We will see.
Off the Redmond. Maybe some good pictures as we explore the center of the state. Neither of us have ever been to Redmond, Or. before. Wish us luck. Will be going around the south side of Mt. Hood. Should be a very memorable ride, with such scenery.

The last time we were up that way, we went around the east side of Mt Hood, down 35, to 26, to 97, to Bend, right through Redmond. After visiting with friends in Bend, we continued on to Sisters and then to Belknap Springs. We stayed overnight at the lodge there (there is also a campground right there) and swam in their hot spring fed pool. Beautiful country all the way!

We parted ways with the friends in Belknap Springs and headed back west and then north, through Portland, and up to Seattle for a visit with my sister and Brother in law. Had a great time>
