Geocaching Pigeon Forge

Here is where we are staying. This is so much nicer than a motel. Glad we have a house.

Beautiful day here today. Teri grabbing our first cache of the day.

Early for us was 1130 am. But, traffic was not bad. It got bad later. Would hate to be here in the summer time.

Some were easy to find.

Some were not. It was a long climb up here.

A view to the west from the cross.

To the east, down town Pigeon Forge.

Well, we had to be stealthy on this one. Teri figured I blended in better here so she sent me.

Down by the river.

Another one on the river walk.

There she goes, across the bridge.

Teri ran into this church of Christ group. They were glad to find her. She took them for a few caches.

Can you tell what time it is? Was early for me after the 6.5 hour drive last night. We left Dexter at 345 and arrived here at 1015pm. Traffic was rough in Paducah and Nashville. If you have the tracker address you can see our route.

Teri with the boys from the church youth group. the girls were in another bus. We found them caching too. Seems the boys were way ahead in numbers. Should not have told the girls as it seemed to dampen their spirits.

Look hard. My best friend is in this picture.

Who is that beautiful girl?

Look close. We are carrying a Flat Stanley from NM.

Another shot of Flat Stanley in front of the Titanic.

Life is good. A beautiful day here and a beautiful buddy to cache with.
Thanks for checking on us.
Dan

Looks like a fun trip. And looks like ya'll had a bigger "Big Cross" than we did.
