58 Degrees in the Redwoods

This is some welcome weather to Teri and me after 3 weeks in the desert sands and 112 traveling thru Phoenix. 58 high today, no sun at all. We nearly froze last night. I may have to run the furnace tonite. Teri and I ran to town and she did our washing. Tried to find the church building but the address in the phone book is not correct. Ran up to the next town looking for one and no luck there either. Sam is asleep on the shop floor and Teri is with the Curtis' exploring their place here in the Redwoods. 1700 feet up this mountain and it is deep in the Redwoods. We have a great week here with our friends. Will hate leaving them Monday but will see them again next week as they are coming to Oregon where we will be. No pictures. Will get some up when we get settled in Oregon. I believe we will have wifi there for a couple weeks. Once again, I must say that Teri and I have really enjoyed ourselves in California. We have been and see places that I had never really given any thought to before. Would see it on TV and that was it. Our friends, Jim and Grace in the Bay area, and Fay and Bert up here in the Redwoods have just been great to us. We have had the run of both of their shops and property. Fay and Bert are metal and fiberglass fabricators, making lots of parts for GMC motor homes and Lotus Race Cars. Someone needs to give me a blow by blow report on the race tomorrow as we do not have satellite tv and no Nascar. Well, as always, thanks for stopping by. Dan
