Queen Creek, Arizona

Hey, did you have time to check out our travels today? Pretty neat. Worked just as it was supposed to. It even showed me turning around and backtracking when we came upon a bridge that was out. Pretty neat. Had a friend email me when we stopped in Globe and wanted to know what we were doing at Walmart. Yes, you can see where we are by going to the satellite view and zooming in real close. That is a great feature. There are three different views, Map, Terrain, and Satellite. Also, you can click the box up in the right hand corner and set the amount of hours that you want to see, in reverse. So, if you can't travel with us you can come home later, say, click 12 hours, and then see just where we were and why we may have stopped somewhere, like a Walmart. Right now we are in Queen Creek, at our friend Rob's winter home.
We took our time today and I think we were out about 5 or 6 hours getting over here. Rod was watching us and even saw us stop on a corner to buy oranges. He was sitting outside when we got here laughing and asking how many oranges we bought. I was cracking up. Teri and I have to be very careful now because yall can see just where we are. Rob took us out to a nice Mexican resturant for supper. I am still stuffed. Maybe it was that Chocolate ice cream with Hershey's syrip that Rob fed us when we got back home. Wow, what an evening. We sat inside til 10 pm visiting with rob. This is the first time we have seen him since last year in January. He is just as happy as ever, what a guy.
Well, I think Rob is cooking breakfast in the morning. We will eat and get ready to travel on over to Gila Bend. I need to check the header bolts for tightness before we take off. Don't want to lose another gasket. Should get out of here by 10 am or so. We got some good pictures today. Even stopped at a car show. I am just too tired (full) to upload them tonight. Will get them up tomorrow.
So, ride along with us in the morning if you have time. If not, check in after work and roll the hours back to see just where we have been.
Thanks for hanging out with us.
Dan

That tracking thing is a neat trick... don't comment often, but I am a faithful reader. Love your blog!
