Drive Up the Coast

Teri and I had a great drive up the coast yesterday. Was a foggy day but that was just fine with us. Traffic was light. Guess most folks work on Monday. Lots of hills to climb but with the new final drive we did not have any problems pulling the car up the hills. the Pacific ocean was raging and had some gigantic waves, in my book anyway. Looked like folks could surf on the waves as they were high. The little towns along the coast are pretty and touristy along 101. Gasoline was 3.50 in California, then dropped to 2.90 in Oregon. Wonder what it costs in Missouri now? We were welcomed by Jerry and Rosemary Wheeler when we got here. They are really good friends. Jerry tucked us in under the tree next to a hill so we are nice and cozy here for a few days. There will be 20 plus other GMC coaches arriving next week but Jerry gave us the best spot of all. We even have cable tv here. I look forward to helping him work on one of his coaches this week. I was supposed to go into town with him this am but overslept, imagine that. 9 am when I hit the shower. Well, guess that's about it today. Maybe I can get Teri to post here soon. Thanks for stopping by. Dan
