The Buses Are Coming
This is a shot of the main drag in Quartzsite this afternoon. Not much shaking. I figure Saturday will be the main day. We will get to town early and grab a parking place near the big tent. Spend the day and then get out of there. Got to be there when that tent opens.

While driving to get ice I met a flex so I ran over to their lot before coming home. I think I found 3 there. There are a lot of other bus conversions already on the lot and it will fill up tomporrow.

This little 23 footer is parked with the buses. Belongs to an older couple from Ca. I was told. That could be 98% of the folks here, "older couple". I mean, most of the ladies look like Missouri Blue Hairs and the men, well, they look like raisins. I could not find them but I am sure they are hanging with the Jetsetters who will start showing up this weekend.

These old Flex buses look as cool going as they do coming. I believe most came with Buick straight 8 s in them but many are now diesels and more modern gas burners.

This one has a nice paint job.

If you blow this picture up there are two lonely GMC coaches sitting out there. the only thing lonlier is our's as we are alone here at MM 99.

As I said earlier, life is great in Quartasite. If you are coming, get on out here. Next week will be a blast.

You are a lucky guy! I'm stuck here in a snowbank and having to work besides. Thanks for posting up pictures so at least I can see.
I love your description of the blue haired ladies and the raisin men. I do appreciate the pictures. It's almost like being there.
