A Short One

This morning Ken and I had planned to change out my brake booster. What does it look like Ken and Carl are up to here? Would you think they might be doing anything productive? Now, look at this shot. Here is where all of the work was going on, ha.
Great to have moral support and an extra hand to find lost washers. Changing a brake booster on a GMC Motorhome is a one man job. Took about 30 minuts. Was all loosening and then tightening nuts, 6 of them, then two bolts. We put our electric auxillary vacuum pump back on. Now, we won't hear it coming on every 3 minutes. The new booster is holding the vacuum as it should. It is also one of the new ones that makes the pedal much easier to push. I tested it and it works great. Ken wanted me to drive it on the road but I only needed one foot of travel space to find out it will throw me through the windshield if I am not careful. I will like it.
The sun has been shining here all morning. We were fully charged at 11 am from the solar. We were down about 34 amp hours on the batteries but good sunlight charges a lot faster than cloudy weather. Our system works about as well as I could hope for.
Pray for no rain here. It has been forecasted for the last two days but so far all we have had is sprinkles and that was after dark. Had a great fire last night.
Oh, we had a nice seminar this morning on the tracking system that we use. Learned a couple of things.
Should I get out and about I may have more for later this evening. Teri has a presentation in 30 minutes. I better help her get her things over there.
Dan
