These are the heated leather seats that were installed Tuesday. Now, all that is left is the window tint. We have an appointment for Wednesday to get that done.
I think we will enjoy this car. Since it is a hybrid it really gets some great mileage. It is not unusual to see 60 mpg on the ScanGauge wile traveling the speed limit. We drove over to Poplar Bluff yesterday at 65 mph. It did about 55 mpg. In town, it runs on the electric motor, a lot. That is free. There is an onboard computer with a great display. Tells all kind of things. Driving 60 mph on two lane hiway, this morning for 10 miles, we averaged 60 mpg. Just a cool little hatchback. There is not as much room as in the Vibe but it is not a lot less. Since it is normally Teri and I only we keep the rear seats folded down. More room than we need. In the front driver/passenger area, don't notice any less room than in the Vibe. We have put 300 miles on it. I can't take my eyes off the computer screen yet. It also has bluetooth phone. My Iphone, in its holster, works by touching a button on the steering wheel.
Front wheels work charging the battery along with the gasoline engine. We drive it all around Dexter on electric only and have a blast. I see it as an airconditioned golf cart.
No belts on the engine. Even the air conditioning runs on the battery pack that is under the rear seat.
Can't tow it behind the GMC, bummer. But, we have the vdub and Vibe for that.
10 days ago I drove one in Cape. Got within 300.00 of making a deal. These things sell very fast and they were not going to budge. Found the exact one we wanted in Poplar Bluff. I told them what I would give and countered once, 100 bux. Got the car and the side mouldings thrown in.
Got to run. We have GMC friends coming this afternoon from Tucson. Just wanted to show off the car before they got here. Remember, this is the "C" model. It looks nothing like the ugliest car on the road, Prius. No offense if you own one. I just don't like the looks. And, our's gets better mileage.
