GMC Motor Home, Travel with Teri and Dan

Hey, I really appreciate the comments. Teri told me tonite that I was too long winded, according to one of our girls. Oh well, guess if it is too long folks can stop when they get enough. Comments and notes via email really have been why I kept doing this. I don't always have something I can put up here from the day. Teri did go to the fish hatchery today, by herself. Not far from here. We took our last ride up the coast today, about 15 miles up to Garibaldi. We are leaving in the morning. This is tough for me as I really enjoy this area, but that is not the only reason. Teri and I have met a couple that really treat us nice. I have learned so much from them. I have mentioned them before. Sylvia and Gordon. We have also enjoyed the company of their two grown children for a few days, Kathy and Brad. They live near Salem and come over to see thier parents while they are in this area. They are full time in the bus that I put a picture up of. Own a few acres in Arizona. It is east of Metro Phoenix, where they spend the winters, still inside the bus but under a shed that Gordon has built to cover it. He even has solar panels on the shed. He unplugs from the panels on the bus and plugs into the others. Gordon is pretty sharp guy. His wife, Sylvia, is also very intelligent and both Teri and I have really enjoyed their company for the last several days. Will be hard to leave but we plan to visit them in January at their place in Az. We can also keep in touch in the mean time. We have a photo of our new friends but I did not ask about putting it up here so I won't. Anyway, we sit around thier fire nearly every evening. I ask all of the questions that I can think of about various subjects, hoping to glean some of the wealth of information these folks have. They have been very gracious.
The internet is kinda tough to hit tonite so I must close before I lose it. Got to get you guys your daily "fix". We really enjoy you traveling with us. Next writing will come from over the Columbia River. May take a day or two to locate the internet over there so be patient. Go back and review, we may have a pop quiz on Friday. Dan
