A Working Convention

Yes sir ree, this is a real working convention. Lots of wrenches being turned.
And, lots of supervisors offering all kinds of advise.

Bob's beautiful coach now has a new transmission. The old one broke 2 miles outside the gates but he made it in. Jim Bounds brought him a Manny Tranny and now they are ready to roll. I saw him out testing it this afternoon. It will still smoke those front tires.

There is no way I can capture a shot of all of these coaches. Today was open house. Since we had been shown on the front page of Monday's paper and in the 10 pm channel 18 news, we had lots of visitors from the community. That was great. Lots of folks asking lots of questions. We had a GMC owner come out who saw us in the news but had no idea we were here until then. Was nice to meet him.

Now, this is what Nelson pulls. Pretty neat little car. He likes it, I like it, but we both agree the fuel mileage could be a lot better. He said he gets 45. 60 would be more like it. It has a lot of room inside. A 6'6'' person can fit in there easily. Nelson sometimes cruises the thing at 80mph.

That is about it for today. The weather has been great. There may be rain in the forecast, not sure. Teri wants to go geocaching in the morning so I better get to bed early. Check in later to see if she finds the South Alabama treasures.
Dan
