West Bound in a GMC Motorhome

Well, I slept a little longer than planned but got up and was ready to depart by 9, or so. Maserator frozen again. Thawed it with hair dryer. Great. Nope, the line was frozen too. Pump runs but nothing will move. Oh well, good thing I dumped it Sunday afternoon.
It was a beautiful day for a 200 mile ride in the coach. I pulled over at the top of our first mountain to wait for Teri. She stopped to get our last bit of mail at the post office.

Made a stop in Walmart for a few more items. While there this lady pulled up in the bus. We visited for a bit. She lives in this bus. Most of her time is spent in Flagstaff but due to the cold weather up there she has come south. I mentioned to her the bus rally in Lake Havasu City this weekend. She might just show up. Has owned the thing for 22 years. I suspect she was my age, maybe a little bit older. I was told that she is often mistaken for a hippee and has cheap dope or sex. She laughed and said she had neither.

Parked at Walmart for sale. I was tmepted. This would make a killer gocart for the grandkids.

Landing strip near the casino. I suspect this old plane moves a lot of folks still today. I see it there every year when we go by.

Zoom this one. The cacti change here just east of Globe.

Our spot for two nites. Felt good to roll in and see our friend Rob. He is one of our favorite folks to visit. We went out to a Chinese buffet, for supper, in Apache Junction. rob did an excellent job cooking tonight.
More to come on Tuesday.
Dan
