A Tough Life
Hey, someone has to live it, so why not Teri and me? It is absolutely breath taking out here. We are at my great uncle's youngest daughter's place, right here overlooking the Columbia River, Lewis and Clark. Did you take all of that in? My 3rd cousing, 1st to my dad. Her dad and my granddad were brothers. Uncle Steven moved his family out here to Vancouver area in the early 40's so the 4 girls grew up out here with no close family, other than themselves. It is great to vist with them here. They have a hookup site right at their home. Sharon's father in law used to come visit in his trailer so they fixed it up for him. Sharon is the youngest girl of my uncle and we are staying at her home. Her husband is Allen. He is extremely nice also.Anyway, did I promise you a quiz?? I think I did. What day did I start this blog? Month and day. There you go, can't get any easier than that.
No wifi at my cousin's as we are deep in the woods. I am at Teri's mom's using her dialup right now. I answered everyone that had emailed me. That took a while. Paid a bill or two and now I am fixing to sign off. Dial up takes a while. At least an hour I have been here now.
When we get to where I can hook my laptop up to wifi I will put us some great pictures. Teri and I visited my uncle's old homeplace and buisness thia morning and got some pics. Allen runs Uncle Steve's roofing buisness now, right at the old home place, just north of Camus. Allen and Sharon live about 35 miles east of the buisness on 14, right on the river.
Was hard to leave our friends Thursday morning. We will see them in January though as we travel through Az. in the coach. They are the kind of folks that you just want to keep in touch with for a lifetime.
Well, yall hang in there. We will get back to wifi before long. Then, everyone can get their fix as they travel with Teri, Sam, and me. Thanks for waiting around and coming back to visit us. We will return soon. Dan
