Gimmy Goes To School

Gimmy was a big hit this afternoon. Our daughter has a large screen computer monitor on the wall that is hooked to the internet. She has the children watching Teri and I as we travel. We call, send email, and post cards to the class while we are on the road. Good geography lessons for them.

Today they got to see the real Gimmy and come inside. Most were really excited to receive the tours that Teri gave them. Most common statement was about how tiny the bath is. I thought that rather funny. It is just the right size, in my opinion. Teri showed them all of the features and explained how wee take energy from the sun and convert it to electricity.
I have lots of pictures but was asked not to show any of their little faces. Teri brought them in 3 at a time. At the end of the tours we had all of them come inside for a picture. Then one group picture of all of them outside standing next to Gimmy. It was a lot of fun. I am guessing there were 15 children in all.
Here comes Teri with another group.

We had a great afternoon with the kids. Here is the link that the kids click on to watch us travel. You can click the same link and ride along too. You may have already saved the link to your favorites. If not, click it and save if you would like to watch us as we take off across I-10 in a couple of days.
While I was putting the information on the blog my son in law called. We had a skype video call with the 3 grandkids in Dexter. That was neat and hope to do more of that. they just got skype installed and a web cam.
Ok, hope everyone has a great evening. Thanks for coming by again. We will be on the road this weekend sometime. If you save the link you can keep an eye on us and know when we leave for Texas.
