Breezy Sunday Afternoon Hunt

Here is a shot of the rainbow from yesterday. It came out right after we got home from geocaching. The clouds laying on Mt. Graham as we come down out of the mountains. The real thing was so much more beautiful as we headed to Sunday morning services in Safford.
Stopped for a quick grab before church services this morning. Took us 10 minutes to find this one.

Maybe 20 minutes. Actually, I went back to the car and just sat, looking up at the old wagon. This is the real thing too, not a replica. This wagon saw some use 100 years back. Anyway, I got tired of watching Teri so I walked back up and found this one. She gets the credit though. You can see her logging the find.

We quickly grabbed this one right after church. It was not cold but really windy. This is a nice walking track that makes its way through Safford. It is over two miles long now and they have plans to lengthen it.

Here comes Teri after our third one today.

And, she finds it. I must say that Teri is really good with that handheld gps. We are meeting a lot of friends in Montgomery, at the GMC Motorhome International Convention. Teri has plans to take Billie, and anyone else that wants to go, geocaching. She has already been looking at the stashes.

And, here we are looking for number 4. The last three were on the walking track.

I heard something behind me. This tumbleweed hit me before I knew what was sneaking up on me. Lots of these blowing around today.

Look at this. Clever hide. Took Teri no time to find this one. She was hungry and knew we were heading for lunch when she grabbed it.

Nice looking El Camino.

We had another we were after but it beat us again today. We have searched for it twice this week. We will get it when we get back here next year.
We took one of the temperature gauges back today after eating. I had a bad sending unit in the one I bought a couple of weeks back. Picked up another one Friday so I could find which part was bad. It reads pretty close now.
We got to visit with lots of friends after church this morning. A good congregation over at Safford and most of them witnessed our wedding 9 years ago. Always good to see everyone. Wish we had more time to visit. Our California month just grabbed a lot of our time this winter.
I think Gimmy, our GMC, is heading to school tomorrow. Our daughter teaches the first grade. The kids follow us on the tracker when we are on the move. We send them cards and emails telling them about the country side where we travel. They watch us on a big screen on their classroom wall. All of them want to come inside Gimmy so they can see how we travel and where we sleep. It will be fun. Will let you know how it goes.
Monday is coming, oh yes. One of my favorite days. Hope all yall have a great week.
Dan
