Another Day Closer

Look what we woke up to outside our window.

An older modded rod. It has been sitting for 12 years. Has a Mustang II frontend with 4 bolt hubs. 350 small block under the hood. So, What year was this body made?

Monday, I heard an awful noise. Opened the door to see a disgusted tow truck driver. He hauled this thing in on a gooseneck and hung it up trying to roll it off. Engine would not run and the flatbed would not tilt. I think he finally jerked the towtruck fast enough that the long truck rolled off. The owner was not with him to see what occurred. I guess this is what one might call a high center.

Saturday

Monday morning.

Tuesday morning. We are getting close. John is replacing ends on my wires, grounds and stuff. He is thorough. Oil and water is coming shortly. Once everything is ready and the engine fires we will take it out onto the streets of Tucson. That should be shortly but I am not rushing this job. The driver's side exhaust is being hooked up now. We used the thick Remflex header gaskets from Jim K. this time. I am expecting no more header leaks. Left the center bolt out too.
Well, off to help a little. Watch the tracker today, later.
Dan
