The GMC Motorhome is Back on the Road

John and Fam working to get the new oil cooler in.

Looks good to have both seats in and ready for travel.

The new oil cooler that Jim K. sent us.

Jim's phone number if you need parts for your GMC.

John pays close attention to detail. He brazed and painted our transmission dipstick. He painted the handle on the engine oil dipstick also. In addition to that he also repaired several wires under the hatch that were giving us problems or soon would. I think John is proud of his reputation.

Engine running just before we installed the bonnet and closed the hatch for a test run.

Filling the radiator.

I told Fam I was going to make him famous. John has him helping around here. Very nice young man.

Fam and John building a very nice frame for the new oil cooler.

The 49 Stude Commander. This is one slick little hotrod. So, did you get it right? I had several emails on the car.
The trans linkage will be readied for travel first thing in the morning. Will check to see what noise was when we turned on the dash air. It is hot in Tucson. Will need that air going back to Duncan tomorrow.
Should you own a vehicle and ever need help in Tucson, this is the place. John is retired but loves to work on stuff like our coach. Two very capable young men now run the shop and take care of the day to day chores. I would trust them with anything.
Watch the tracker in the morning, WD0AFQ. We should be rolling before noon.
Dan
