A Pretty Day in Duncan, Az.

It was nice here today. Teri saw the temperature pushing 80 degrees. Was very pleasant with the sun shining brightly. Teri got her walk in this afternoon while I worked on the plumbing. I have a leak at the maserator pump. Rvers will know what that is. Not fun working on your back there and getting "splashed". That was an off and on job all day long. I don't know if I did it any good or not. Will know tomorrow when everything dries. If not, over the mountains we go for some good silicone sealer that will work on a damp spot. Tried everything I had in the coach.
Seems folks back home are slowly recovering. Some have no electric yet. We pray for the elderly as I know they are hurting the most. I hope all of them have families that have come to their rescue. I know that my Aunt Pauline is still without power because I am getting no emails from her. She lives out west on Crowley's Ridge. Her grandson had a generator for her to use so I am hoping all is well there. Teri is on the phone now with one of our girls. She is trying to get updates on all of our elderly family and friends.
I made a phone call today to one of the kids. As she was answering it I could hear Tyler hollaring that he wanted to talk to his grandpa. I wonder how he knew it was me. We had a good visit then he wanted to talk with "gran", short for grana, Teri. It is good to visit with the grandkids on the telephone.
Well, lets see, what else. Hmmm. Oh, I made contact with my friend Fred on the ham radio. We left him at Quartzsite last week and he is still there. He has a little 22 foot class A. Perfect for a single guy out on the road. My Dell laptop has malfunctioned again so I am on Teri's new e-machine. I think we did pretty good on this thing for 299. I did have to upgrade the ram but that has been it. It has Vista and was slow. When I doubled the ram it started operating quickly. If you are looking for a new laptop, I am not seeing any bargains, try to get one with at least 2 gig of ram so Vista will operate at an acceptable speed. 1 gig is not enough as Vista uses more memory to operate than the old Windows programs.
Hope everyone had a great Tuesday. I have not left here since Sunday night when we came home from church. Was going to visit my friends Al and Anne today but the plumbing job took too long. Maybe tomorrow. Need to install a new header gasket. That is a 10 minut job but I have been dreading it for 6 months. Makes no sense. Maybe I will get that done Wednesday.
Thanks for checking in. I will have pictures up soon.
Dan

Dear Teri & Dan, I know this has nothing to do with your blog but I am writing to ask you to pray for my friend Sandy and her husband Rich. She was just diagnosed with brain and lung cancer. Please ask your congregation to pray also. She needs a miracle of God and that is what we are believing for. Thank you. Janis
