GMC Motorhome, A Geocaching Day In The Desert

Oh yea, look hard, Teri is in there. While at the library I got this helicopter landing. Was a medical unit.
Teri was hollaring at me to look inconspicuos. I could only laugh.

Got to see this while Teri was geocaching.

It takes both of us to do this. I use the maps on the internet to get us real close. Then, Teri uses her handheld to get right on the target.

Here she goes again.

A FIND.
We found all of them today.

I told Teri it is not on the gas line. Look behind her at the light pole.

Hmmm, imagine that. Lifted the base and there it was. A fella was asleep in that truck with his window down. I am sure Teri woke him up.

The traffic was so thick in town that we headed out into the desert. Ran into these 4 while we were geocaching. They were doing the same thing. We had a good visit.

This one was pretty far out. Check the tracking system under wd0afq-1 and you can see where all we went today.

I think the Vibe would make a great dune buggy. Just give it a 4 inch lift and off we go. We were way out here.

This was a nice one. A tribute to someone's son who must have died on a 4 wheeler here. There were rock patterns all over. Tokk the dad many hours to do this.

I can always tell when Teri finds her cache. She comes back with a big smile. We must have walked 4 miles today. She did, I might have got in 2-3.

They do great jobs hiding these things.

Now, does this look like 4 fingers and a thumb to you? That was the clue and our last stop for the day. We did ten. mo2gmc is our name on the geocache website if you want to track our finds.
Our plan is to run over to Blythe, Ca. in the morning. We may do a few California finds while we are there. Come ride with us if you have time. the tracker is wd0afq-1 when we are in the Vibe running around.
Hope you had fun, we sure did.
Dan
UPDATE, UPDATE
Tuesday ride with us if you can. Geocaching over to Blythe Ca. and back. WD0AFQ-1. You can always run the times back, on the tracker, and see where we went if you can't go with us.
As I have stated before, I hope you get just a little enjoyment out of us sharing our fun with you. We are very fortunate to be able to do this and we realize it.
Dan
