Oh Yea!!!

I told you that I was refusing to accept defeat. This thing has bugged me forever. I was dreaming about this last night. Just could not wait to get there this morning. Was like I had this "vision". Went right to it. I win!!! You see that can pull tab? It is right there. I have walked on this for over a year now, no more. I can laugh everytime we pass this from now on.

Teri grabbed two more cashes and then we went to eat. Today is our 9th anniversary.

After lunch we hit the trail again. Found 9 all together today, 100% for the day. Ran to the library to make a copy of a paper and off we went. We were on a mission.

Check the tracker for WD0AFQ-1 and you will see our journey for the day. We grabbed 3 caches that have eluded us in the past. Oh yea. We are good!!!

People get tricky with these hides. The more you do it the better you get at finding them.

2 or 3 of the ones today I spotted from the car. Teri grabs the last one for the day. Oh, victory is sweet.

Thanks for coming along. This geocaching is a lot of fun. Teri had Gary take a travel bug to Biggs Wa. to drop off when he left us in Ca. He dropped it on a Friday and on Sat. someone grabbed it and off it went again. Pretty neat. Thanks again Gary for helping us out.
Ok, I got chores to do. Have a great evening. We got our 2 new cameras today so no more spots in the pictures. My cry baby brother, Matt, had given us the camera we were using. A nice camera too, but I guess I wore it out. Thanks for the camera Matt, was good while it lasted. You deserve pictures on the blog for giving Teri that camera, ha.

There was a comment that got lost in cyberspace somewhere. The author wanted to know if we were ever questioned while we are geocaching. The answer is no. We stay incognito. Often times I am shooting pictures to distract folks from what Teri is doing. If it is too public we will leave and come back later. Some of them are on private property. One in California I would not stop for as it was in someone's yard. We did not know if the homeowner put the cache there or not so we went on.
Now, we have met other geocachers while on the hunt. If you go back to last March, you will see that the cache owner came out when he saw us looking. Nice guy, an attorney. We found out that he was born 10 miles from wehre I was raised. We were in lower Alabama.
Just be careful and use common sense. Can you tell that Teri and I have a blast doing this?
