Charleston, Oregon

Here are a few photos that Teri snapped as we traveled up the beach. It was a great day for a drive. We still miss our friends Bert and Fay. Wish they could have driven up here with us. Hope to see them again soon.

They charge you to ride a "mail boat" up this river. Teri got a picture of folks on one as we crossed the bridge.

A couple of nice little towns were on 101 as we traveled up. Good tourist traps. We had stopped in them last year so we kept moving.

Tonite we all had supper at a little local cafe. Was good. Bob and Susan are here too. They snuck in this morning. They live south and east of here a few miles.

I was taking a picture of all the boats in the background of the bay but the camera jumped right onto this truck. Its a 51 or 52 Ford. Looks pretty good and is a "driver".

Here is one happy group tonight. The meal was very good, but the company of the others was better. GMC owners have a "connection". We love talking about and showing off our motorhomes. Was a great evening. When we got back to Rosemary and Jerry's, Susan had 2 half gallons of ice cream in her coach along with cake. Rosemary pulled out some fresh picked blackberries. What a dessert. We even watched the last 30 laps of the Nascar race as we had the ice cream. When Teri and I returned to our coach I mounted her 13 inch flat screen tv for her in the bedroom. I am at the top of her list tonight. We have two satellite receivers so she watches what she wants and I watch what I enjoy. She had been watching a little portable tv/dvd player that I got her for xmas. This one is much better for the coach. Life is good in Oregon. Thanks for stopping by. We appreciate your company.
Dan
