Hey Yall

Look at Cory's face. He is one happy guy. You see he was cooking supper on the new grille. I found out why he was so happy when I walked over. It seems that he was more than sampling the food. He was having a meal as he cooked.

Mmmm. Look at these little babies. Cory cooked them up just right. They were today's catch too. The ladies got up early this morning and got these while the tide was out. Rosemary fixed a great supper tonite. Much better than the resturant meal we shared yesterday, even tho it was good. She had a little of everything in addition to the clams. There was crab leg, salad, all kinds of dip and then the main course, clam chowder. Her's has real clam too, that you can see in the spoon. Not the storebought where you need a magnifying glass to see anything besides potatoes.

After supper the ice cream came out. Look at that Jerry put it away. He even got my share. Jerry tricked me and did not eat but a little dab of supper while he watched me put it away. I was too full to have desert so he ate mine too. The only guy I know that loves ice cream as much as I do.
We have had a great time here. Susan and Bob were great folks to spend time with. They are leaving at 6 am. I shook Bob's hand tonite just in case I miss him at 6 am. Rosemary and Jerry made us feel very welcome. We have really enjoyed the visit. Got a good bit of visiting in and will see them again before too long. May be in North Carolina next time, at their other place, or maybe they will stop and see us in Missouri. Their son, Cory, is a great guy and rides a Harley. He is fun to talk with and is welcome at our home as well.
So, Monday we will move on up the coast about 60 miles to Florence. Tuesday we will go up as far as Lincoln City. Teri and Sam love running and flying the kite there. We can park right on the beach, well, a little walk, but we can see it. Will stay until Teri says she has flown her kite enough then move on up to Tillamook. Please ride along with us. As you know, we are "people persons" and love the company.
