Trip to Pinal Couty Fairgrounds

Yes, this is the second post today. Teri took these shots on our way over today and we wanted to share them with you. Was perfect day for a drive in the GMC. traffic was light. Lots of troopers out. We even found a place in Safford to get propane for 1.89 per gallon. You can bet that we will fill the tank on our way back through. No more 4 dollar stuff for us.
This shot was in the Globe/Miami area.

We had one spot with road constuction, on Hwy 60. Was lucky that it was on a down hill slope. The mountain climb is not too bad heading west. Teri was tired so I did not unhook the car. Was no problem pulling it over with the GMC. Going east it is tougher. We were out pulling a Bounder pusher.




















Top of the World Az. Pretty little place. That 56 Chevy pickup was for sale. Looked good.




































This last shot was coming down off the mountain, just west of Superior. Sun Valley here. Straight ahead is the Phoenix Metro. We turned south on 79 and down to Florence and over to Coolige, then out to the fairgrounds. We are almost to Casa Grande. Such a beautiful drive today. We are glad to have had yall as passengers. We look forward to tomorrow here. There are a lot of things going on. Make sure that you come with us. We will have lots of fun Saturday.
