From Alabama To Dexter Missouri

I love to visit old grave yards, especially when I have family there. Here is my great, great grandfather. Tomorrow he will have a Rebel Flag placed on his tomb. His father died in battle and is buried in the Columbus, Ms. Confederate grave yard. This is the Buttahatchee Cemetary, just south of Hackleburg, Al.

The uploader is acting up tonight. Some of the pictures are out of order, like this one of Teri chasing a cache through the woods in Ms. this morning. My Great Grandparents are also buried in the Buttahatchee Cemetary. I visit it often and we contribute to its upkeep.

Teri with a cache we found in a Ms. graveyard this morning. We sure find some interesting spots while geocaching. Here is an interesting tombstone in the Ms. Graveyard. 205 years ago this fella was born. I hope he is not forgotten.

There she goes, chasing another cache.Tupelo is covered with caches. We hope to spend a day here. This is an excellent way to tour a city.

She has her hands on another one.Ms. Welcome Center at Corinth.

I found this sign very intersting. My grandmother used to cry over what took place here. Her grandmother was a full blooded Cherokee and was present when this happened. She did not move but much of her family was forced to make this trip. I will never forget her crying as she talked about this as she heard it from her grandmother.

Teri is grabbing our last cache of the day here.
We had a great trip home. Lots of traffic and a few police out on the roads. We were glad to arrive home safe and sound. Certainly we enjoyed being with our family in Alabama but were glad to get home.
Hope everyone has a great 4th. If you are on the roads be very careful and watch out for the other guy.
Dan

Great Pics. We spend a lot of time looking for relative's grave stones whenever we visit in PA. It IS interesting.
